We were relocating from California to NJ and had a 4-day weekend to find and put offers in on a house. Mary was wonderful at preparing us. We did joint searches on the various neighborhoods we were interested in. She did a "drive by" of the properties before we came in so we could "whittle down" the list of homes to see ahead of time. She was flexible with us as we adjusted our thoughts around the neighborhoods. We asked also to see a town that is outside of Mary's standard area. She worked with the team at Turpin to have one of her peers give us all a tour of the town so we had a local "expert" view of the area. Ultimately, it was this town that we chose and we still were able to work with Mary through the purchase process. Mary was very responsive and helpful as we worked through the inspection process from across the country and acted on our behalf at these inspections a good portion of the time. I trust her judgment and her recommendations on negotiation. What it all comes down to is that she was showing us the best of what was on the market and helped to satisfy as many of our requests as possible even when it took us outside her normal territory.
